Alot of poeple are still stuck on the bad reputation from when this place was called the Methadone clinic. Poeple say that they keep you for years to make profit. The truth is that treatment lasts as long as it takes for you to go through all 3 of the phases. You have to apply yourself and not have ANYTHING illegal come up in your drug screens before you can keep moving forward. If a person has been an addict for over 10 or 20 years then long term treatment may take half the time that you were an active addict to reverse the affects of addiction inside your brain in order to get you clean for good. You have to go to the meetings to become educated about yourself and your addiction and figure out the underlying reasons for why your an addict so you can work on those issues with a more educated plan to keep from using again. This clinic is there for poeple who can't help themselves. Trying to buy Suboxone off the street to treat your addiction can be fatal to your health. Alot of poeple get sick using Suboxone because they misuse it and end up with stomach ulcers. The Doctor is there to give you additional medications like Zophran and stomach acid reducers for those that are transitioning to Suboxone. Therapists and the Doctor will ask you what your needs are and offer help meeting those needs. They truly care for you especially when you show them that you are serious and compliant. They know who cares about their life and who doesn't. I encourage anybody who is using to give the clinic a try. The nurses, Therapists, and the Doctor have been very good to me and they want to save as many lives as they can.
Ever since Medicaid took over this place and got rid of Jeff as the clinic director this place has become the place that it should have been from the start! It saved my life and I continue to see it save lives every single day! Is it for everyone....No but for the people that are serious about getting clean, it can be Amazing!
Ur not just a number
Im alive because of the treatment center ive been here a little over a year its changed my life i would recommend this place 100% to get help doctor wait sucks but its worth it
Me and my husband guest dosed at this location this week and we didnt meet anyone but the nurses and a couple people but they were great. But as for the building or space definitly could use a upgrade, my clinic is from florida and there so up to date with nurses, couslers, even equipment. And even the check in girls are great but some things at thia parkerburgs place need upgraded.
This place has saved me! The staff is great. The nurses are the best. They work with you. I know that it has its flaws and things don't always run smooth. And sometimes you don't always agree with the rules, but that is ok. Thanks Adreama,Michelle, Rebecca, and Jackie.NO MATTER WHAT PEOPLE THINK, YOU ARE THE BEST IN MY OPINION. Jennifer is the best councilor too.
The staff thier is excellent, there are a few exceptions. Dr. Andronic is a joke, she is not a medical Dr and does not care about the patients. She is a psychiatrist that needs to go back to school and study addiction again. She treats the patients like the dirt on the bottom of her shoe. The Director Jeff Kearns needs a wake up call also, he doesn't care either, all he is worried about is how it looks on paper and that his office is the prettiest. Couldn't buy supplies for an awesome group. No he just did away with the group and fired the awesome counselor that took over it when Kathy left. Which I believe he is part of the reason she quit. Not to mention he fires any counselor that doesn't follow his protocol. He has fired so many good counselors from there it is rediculous. Not to mention the ones who left because of him. Hell since he has been there, I have had 4 counselors alone. I really don't think he cares about the disease of addiction, just the title of Director. I really wish the new company taking over would look a little closer look as to how things are at that clinic. Some patients being made to give up medicines they need, while others who have Dr. Brown are allowed to stay on some of the same medications.
